BJJ BLACK BELT 3RD DEGREE

Jim first began martial arts at the age of 14. Since then he has trained multiple disciplines including Tae Kwon Do, Boxing, and Pankration. Jim started the training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with world renown Marcelo Alonso, shortly after Marcelo arrived in Washington in the late nineties. Marcelo is seventh degree coral belt under the legendary Carlson Gracie and was the head instructor at Carson’s famous academy in Rio De Janeiro. Jim studied Pankration with one of the top MMA coaches in the world, Matt Hume at AMC in Kirkland.
